About our companionship support
Companionship and social support helps you build and maintain social connections. A support worker can spend time with you at home or in the community, sharing conversation, activities and interests.
Regular social support can help you build confidence, develop social skills and feel more connected to your community, in line with your NDIS plan goals.
What companionship support can include
- Regular visits and friendly conversation
- Shared hobbies, games, puzzles and crafts
- Walks, coffee and outings together
- Support to stay in touch with family and friends
- Building social skills and confidence
- Connecting with community groups and activities

NDIS funding
This support generally relates to the NDIS Core Supports category Assistance with Social, Economic and Community Participation. What can be funded depends on your individual plan.
Evident Life Care is an unregistered NDIS provider. We support participants whose plans are self-managed or plan-managed. Check with your plan manager or support coordinator before you start.
Who we support
We support NDIS participants and people living with disability across Perth, including Wellard. We also welcome enquiries from families, carers, support coordinators and plan managers.
Common questions
Is Evident Life Care a registered NDIS provider?
No. Evident Life Care is an unregistered NDIS provider. We can support NDIS participants whose plans are self-managed or plan-managed. We cannot support participants whose plans are NDIA-managed (agency-managed).
Can I use my NDIS funding with Evident Life Care?
If your plan is self-managed or plan-managed, you can generally choose to use unregistered providers. Talk with your plan manager or support coordinator about which supports in your plan can be used for our services.
Which areas do you cover?
We support NDIS participants and people living with disability across Perth, Western Australia, including Wellard and surrounding suburbs.
